Butterflies

I've got discovery tummy- that incredible burning, churning belly ache which can only come from your heart beating so ferociously it's knocking your stomach off its hinges. A feeling like this only comes from finding something big- something that leaves you with a knot in the pit of your stomach forged from excitement, uncertainty, hope, fear, confidence, purpose...
It keeps you up at night. It subsides then returns only stronger at inconvenient times. It leaves you beaming while sitting alone on the fourth row of your Philosophy class, or keeps you distracted with racing thoughts rather than studying for Physiology.
And as much as it terrifies you. You love it.
